At Flint TS, we have recently supported customers in two specific areas:
Design
The collation of the Low Level Design for a Private Network deployment, which required liaison with multiple vendors whom formed part of the solution; as well as stakeholders within our customer’s organisation and their end customer.
In completing this design work, Flint TS had to ensure technical questions and specific use cases were addressed as well as critically managing the responsibilities, to ensure that each party was clear as to the aspects they were delivering.
Technical configuration data had to be reviewed to ensure the compatibility of parameters so that the equipment would be successfully integrated later in the project.
Demonstration Environment
The key to a successful deployment of a Private Network is to ensure that the solution is integrated and working prior to delivery and installation on-site.
Following our recommendation, the customer decided to pre-stage the Private Network solution to firstly prove that the discrete components could be integrated to deliver a working Private Network solution, but also to allow a demonstration to take place with the end customer of the solution in action.
Having pre-staged and built the environment, as well as demonstrating positive test scenarios with real end-user devices that would be used on the Private Network, it also provided the opportunity to demonstrate some negative testing and failover scenarios so the end customer could be confident in the solution before it was even deployed.
